Samvad – Communication & Professional Skills Club

Communicate • Connect • Collaborate • Succeed

Introduction

SAMVAD is the Communication and Professional Skills Club of the Department of Computer Applications, established to enhance students’ communication abilities, interpersonal skills, professional behaviour, and workplace readiness. The word Samvad represents meaningful dialogue, interaction, and exchange of ideas.

The club provides a structured platform for students to develop effective verbal and non-verbal communication, professional etiquette, interpersonal relationships, interview skills, career-planning abilities, and workplace behaviour. Through interactive sessions, role plays, discussions, presentations, career-oriented activities, and practical exercises, SAMVAD helps students bridge the gap between academic learning and professional expectations.

The club aims to prepare students to communicate confidently in classrooms, interviews, workplaces, group discussions, presentations, and professional environments.
