Objectives of the R&D Cell

Policy

The R&D Cell at DBIMSCA is dedicated to promoting research excellence through a strong framework of policies that maintain the highest levels of integrity and innovation. Our extensive research policies encompass a rigorous Ethics and Code of Conduct that guarantees transparency, accountability, and responsible research practices; a proactive Research Promotions Policy aimed at encouraging scholarly excellence and nurturing interdisciplinary collaborations; and the SEI Research Policy, which delineates strategic guidelines to propel progressive research initiatives in accordance with industry standards and academic objectives.

Initiatives

Our Seed Grant initiative aims to cultivate innovative ideas from faculty members right from their inception by offering early-stage funding and crucial support for promising research projects. This program enables both faculty and students to explore new concepts and pilot projects that could develop into groundbreaking research, thereby promoting a culture of creativity and innovation

Dean – Research Desk

Advancing Research, Innovation and Knowledge Creation

The Dean – Research Desk is committed to strengthening the research ecosystem of the institution by promoting a culture of inquiry, innovation, collaboration and scholarly excellence. The Desk provides strategic direction, guidance and support to faculty members and students in undertaking meaningful, ethical and impactful research that contributes to academic advancement, industry development and societal well-being.

The Dean – Research Desk facilitates and coordinates research initiatives across the institution, with emphasis on quality publications, research collaborations, interdisciplinary studies, innovation, consultancy and the development of research capabilities among faculty and students.
