About IQAC
Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Don Bosco Institute of Management Studies and Computer Applications (DBIMSCA) was established with the objective of promoting and sustaining a culture of quality in academic and administrative activities.
IQAC serves as a quality enhancement and monitoring mechanism of the institution. It facilitates continuous improvement in teaching-learning processes, research and innovation, student development, infrastructure, stakeholder engagement, institutional governance, and extension activities.
The IQAC works collaboratively with the Management, Principal, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty members, administrative staff, students, alumni, employers, and other stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement in institutional performance.

- To facilitate systematic documentation and evidence-based quality improvement.
- To support the institution in meeting accreditation and regulatory requirements.
- To identify and implement innovative and sustainable best practices.
IQAC Objectives
The major objectives of IQAC are:
- To develop a systematic mechanism for continuous improvement in institutional quality.
- To promote learner-centric and outcome-based teaching-learning practices.
- To encourage faculty development, research, publications, and knowledge sharing.
- To strengthen academic and administrative processes through effective planning and monitoring.
- To collect and analyse feedback from students and other stakeholders.
- To identify gaps and initiate corrective and preventive measures.
- To promote quality initiatives, best practices, and institutional innovations.
- To maintain systematic documentation of quality-related activities.
- To facilitate preparation of AQAR, SSR, and other quality assurance reports.
- To create awareness among stakeholders regarding quality enhancement and accreditation processes.
