Admissions - Procedure & Criteria
- Candidates who have completed two year Pre-University Course of Karnataka Pre University Board or its equivalent examination are eligible for admission to B.Com/BBA or BCA program.
- The course of study is for four years of eight semesters as per NEP. A candidate shall complete his/her degree within six (6) academic years from the date of his/her admission to the first semester.
- Admission made by the college is provisional only and is subject to approval by Bangalore University based on the original documents submitted by the candidate at the time of admission to college. The college shall not take any responsibility for non-approval of their admission by Bangalore University for delay in the submission of original documents or submission of fake documents.
Admissions - Guidelines & Checklist
Scheme of Examination:
- There shall be a university examination at the end of each semester. The maximum marks for the university examination in paper shall be 70 and a student is to be evaluated for 30 marks as internal marks at the college level for skill development, attendance, record maintenance, internal examinations, class tests, etc by the faculty concerned. Hence a candidate is evaluated for a total of 100 marks in each subject.
- A candidate shall apply for all the parts in each examination when he/she appears for the first time.
- A candidate shall be considered to have appeared for the examination only if he/she has submitted the prescribed application for the examination along with the required fees to the university.
- A candidate who has passed any language under Part-I shall be eligible to claim exemption from the study of the language if he/she has studied and passed the language at the corresponding level.
- Further, candidates shall also be eligible to claim exemption from studying and passing in those commerce subjects which he/she has studied and passed at the corresponding level, subject to the conditions stipulated by the university.
- A candidate who is permitted to seek admission to particular degree course on transfer from any other University shall have to study and pass the subjects which are prescribed by the University. Such candidates shall not however, be eligible for the award of ranks.
Attendance:
- For the purpose of calculating attendance, each semester shall be taken as a Unit.
- A student shall be considered to have satisfied the requirement of attendance for the semester, if he/she has attended not less than 75% in aggregate of the number of working periods in each of the subjects compulsorily.
- A student who fails to complete the course in the manner stated above shall not be permitted to take the University examination.
Check List
Candidates seeking admission to B.Com/BBA or BCA are required to produce the following documents in original:
- Original SSLC (or 10th Standard) Marks Card or Certificate.
- II PUC ( or 12th Standard) original marks card or its equivalent examination.
- Original Transfer Certificate issued by the previous institution where the candidate has studied.
- Original copies of the achievements in sports and other activities at State level of at National Level competitions.
- Copy of the Aadhar Card.
- Copy of the pass book of the bank account of the candidate.
- 4 passport size photos.
- NOC from the previous college (for transfer from other college to our college only)
- Valid email ID of the candidate.
- For students coming from out of Karnataka State, they have to
produce original copy of the Migration Certificate issued by the
concerned Board or University.
Scholarships
Eligible candidates can apply for scholarship from the Government, such as SC/ST scholarship, OBC scholarship in the Scholarship web portal of government of Karnataka. Eligible candidates belonging to minority community can also apply for scholarship from Karnataka Minority Development Corporation.
In addition to the above scholarships, following one-time fee concessions are awarded by the college during the admission to I year UG program only. These concessions are not available to the students who continue their II and III year UG program.
Management provides the following fee concessions to the students:
- Fee concession based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
- Fee concession for students representing state level / national sports or other activities
- Don Bosco Scholarship examination is conducted to provide scholarships to the students.

Hostel Fee
College provides hostel facility for both boys and girls. It has a large and spacious canteen for providing breakfast, lunch and dinner for more than 400 students at a time. Medical facility is provided for the inmates of the hostel. Special meals as per doctor’s advice is also available for the students.
