Dr. Tabreez Pasha, Principal, DBIMSCA has 20 years of composite experience as working for Financial Institutions, as Franchisee Business Owner and in the educational sector. His foray into the education sector has been basically driven out of the passion to inspire and ignite young minds. Dr. Pasha’s work experience has been across the financial institutions like Standard Chartered Bank, Centurion Bank of Punjab (Currently HDFC Bank), Yes Bank, Centrum, Kotak Mahindra Bank. He has had experience in the capital market services, wealth management, client relations, channel partner management, portfolio management. He has worked in various capacities – as an individual contributor, as well as People Manager. He was employer, an authorized SEBI registered franchisee owner of Kotak Securities. He has attained his Ph.D. in Management from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum, Karnataka. His research areas focus mainly on e-Marketing strategies, Business Performance, Branding, Economic Analysis. He also completed post-graduation in Commerce from KSOU. He has published research articles in referred National and International Journals with high level impact factor. He also got article publication respectively in UGC Listed Journal and also has article publication in Scopus indexed journal. He has authored books for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. He was associated with Surana college, PG program for 10 years.


During his tenure at Surana college, He was recognized for his research contribution by Surana Educational Institution (SEI) and he is the recipient of “Margadarshaka” award from SEI. He has participated in management development and faculty development programs organized by AICTE, UGC, Swayam, and other premier institutions. He accompanied Students for Global Student Mobility Program to Malaysia. He was the President for Institution’s Innovation Council, SEI. He has organized course related Field Visits and Internships, in-charge for the entire program assessment process, liasioning with Bangalore University for Academic related activities, and has organized and coordinated for Workshops/Panel Discussion/FDPs/Seminars/Conferences/Guest Lectures/Management Fest. As a part of SEI CSR activity, he has travelled across Karnataka State and has conducted sessions for more than 20,000 graduating students to create awareness on higher education, research, aptitude, employability, and soft skills. Dr. Pasha is a people friendly person, which again he believes is one of his key strengths, enabling him to connect with people at various levels. His strengths are in negotiation, people management, communication, and research.

Prof. CHAMPA T

Mrs. Champa.T holds Bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bangalore University, an MBA from Visweshawraiah Technological University in finance as a specialization, and M.COM from Bangalore University in accounting and taxation as a specialization. She has 10 years of teaching experience at the post-graduate level and served as an internal guide for an MBA student’s project. She has also worked as an assistant manager at HDFC BANK LTD for 3 years. Mrs. Champa.T has presented papers at National conferences and has attended National and International Level Seminars and workshops. She is passionate about teaching students about the current trends in technology and its impact on the workplace.

Prof. YASHODHA S

Mrs. Yashodha S.L is working as an Assistant Professor in Commerce and Management. She has received M.Com with Finance specialization from Bangalore University and PGDBA degree from Bangalore University and also qualified with an MBA degree with a general management specialization in Bharathiar University. She is currently pursuing Ph.D in M.B.A at Annamalai University. She has 14 years of Academic Experience in teaching UG and PG courses and versatile knowledge in Commerce & Management subjects and she served as an internal guide for UG and PG students and she also attended various state and national level seminars, workshops and conferences.

Prof. Mohammed Natiq

Mr. Mohammed Natiq R working as Assistant professor in the department of MBA (BU). He has completed BBA form Bangalore University(BU) and MBA in HR and Finance from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi. He has organized one National Level Conference and also presented research papers both at national and international level.

Mr. Madhu Nayaka is working as an Assistant Professor in MBA Department at DBIMSCA. He has degrees such as an MBA from Bangalore University, 9 years of experience in Industry background & 2 years of experience in teaching for the HR & Marketing domain, and Currently Pursuing a Ph.D. in HR from Mysore University.

Prof. BHARATH S B

Mr. Bharath S B is Working as an Assistant Professor in the MBA Department at DBIMSCA. He has completed his Master’s Degree, specializing in HR and Marketing from Bangalore University. He has 12 years of experience, with 3 years of industry background and 9 years of teaching experience in the HR and marketing domain. He served as an internal guide for PG students and he has also attended various state and international-level seminars, workshops, and conferences. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in HR from Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research Chennai The topic is the Implementation of human resource practices in the health sector. He has been awarded as the best faculty for achieving 100% results in 2017. And achieving 90% results constantly since 2014. He also has a good knowledge of teaching and researching techniques, excellent communication and mentoring abilities, and a good Knowledge of educational curriculum and student management techniques.

Ms. Manasa R

Ms. Manasa R is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Management Studies and has over 3.5 years of teaching experience in teaching both UG and PG. She has received B. Com degree from Bangalore University & MBA from VTU University. She has participated actively in various seminars, workshops and conference held at National level.

Experienced and self-motivated Professor bringing forth valuable industry experience and a passion for Teaching with good management skills, result-oriented with a proven track record of working collaboratively with team members to effectively manage all operations. Working as a Professor and Hands-on experience in Heading the Department of Commerce and Management.Graduate in MBA., M.com., with 18 years of total experience in teaching for UG and PG students. Dr. Anuja Manohar

Dr. Anuja Manohar, is an Assistant Professor and she completed Ph.D. in the area of SCM in the apparel industry under Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. She completed B.Tech (Textiles) under Bangalore University in the year 2000 and MBA – HR under IGNOU, Delhi.  She started her career as industrial engineer in the fashion industry and continued with academics for the past 17.5 years with a strong background in the area of Textiles, Apparel Technology and Management. She was awarded “Dr. Radhakrishnan Gold Medal Award”, by GEPRA for her contribution to education and national development on the occasion of 28th National Seminar (National Unity Conference) on 5th September 2015.

She was resource person for national level and state level seminars at Tamil Nadu in the year 2017 and 2015 respectively. Her active research work experiences and contribution led towards three international paper publications and 8 paper presentations in national and international level conference proceedings. She was a part of organizing committee member in 13th International and 71st National Conference organized by Textile Association of India (Karnataka Unit), Nimhans Convention Hall, Bangalore on Functional Textiles & Apparels: Global Requirements and Opportunities.
