Introduction

Eligibility for Admission:
To secure admission, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
A candidate who has cleared the Pre-University Examination conducted by the Pre-University Education Board in the state of Karnataka or two years job-oriented courses conducted by the Board of Vocational Education of any State Government or any other education considered as equivalent thereto.
Candidates with a Diploma in Textile Technology / Costume and Fashion Design conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Karnataka, are eligible for admission directly to the III semester of the B.Sc Fashion and Apparel Design course.
Candidates with a Diploma in Handloom Technology and a Diploma in Handloom and Textiles conducted by the Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India, are also eligible for admission directly to the III semester of the B.Sc Fashion and Apparel Design course.
