Mr. Maruthi M. V is the Head of the Department (HOD) of the B.Com Department at DBIMSCA. He holds a Master of Commerce (M.Com) and has qualified both K-SET and UGC-NET, demonstrating his strong academic credentials and subject expertise. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D, further strengthening his research skills and academic contributions.

With rich experience in teaching and academic administration, Mr. Maruthi M. V has played a key role in shaping the department’s academic standards and fostering a culture of excellence. His teaching approach emphasizes conceptual clarity, practical knowledge, and student engagement. As an HOD, he is dedicated to curriculum development, coordination of departmental activities, and mentoring faculty and students.

Prof. Padmavathy C

Mrs. Padmavathy C has joined the DBIMSCA Commerce Department as an Assistant Professor. She brings with her nearly 29 years of rich academic experience, making her a valuable addition to the institution. She holds an M.Com degree from the renowned Central College, Bangalore University, which has laid a strong foundation for her teaching career. Throughout her professional journey, Smt. Padmavathy C has contributed significantly to higher education through her dedicated teaching, mentoring, and student-centric approach. Prior to joining DBIMSCA, she served at the Jnana Vikas Institute of Management Studies & Commerce, Bidadi, Ramanagar District, where she played an active role in academic development and student guidance. Known for her commitment, discipline, and effective teaching methods, she strives to create a supportive learning environment. She is proficient in English, Kannada, and Hindi, enabling her to connect with students from diverse backgrounds.

Mrs. Pooja N is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at DBIMSCA. She holds a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), a Master of Commerce (M.Com), and has also qualified the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (K-SET), reflecting her strong academic foundation and professional competence. Prof. Mr. Naveen Kumar H M

Mr. Naveen Kumar H. M. is a dedicated academic and finance professional with a strong foundation in Finance and Banking, holding a Master of Commerce (M.Com) degree and having qualified the KSET examination. He possesses over 3 years of combined experience in academia and the corporate sector, including 2 years of corporate experience and 1 year of teaching experience.

 
Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Don Bosco Institute of Management Studies and Computer Applications, Mr. Naveen Kumar actively engages in teaching, research, and academic development. He has presented and published two research papers in international conferences and has participated in various Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and seminars aimed at enhancing pedagogical and research skills.
 
His areas of interest include Financial Management, Banking Operations, Investment Analysis, and Corporate Finance. With a passion for continuous learning and student development, he strives to bridge the gap between academic concepts and real-world financial practices

Prof. Shaheen Noor

Ms. Shaheen Noor is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce at DBIMSCA. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and a Master of Commerce (M.Com), which provide her with a strong academic background in accounting, finance, and business studies. With one year of teaching experience, she has already demonstrated excellent communication skills, dedication to student learning, and a strong command over her subjects.

Prof. Vinayaka T

Vinayaka T is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration (BBA), DBIMSCA, Bengaluru. He has 7 years of teaching experience in UG and PG courses. He has obtained M.com and PGDBA from Bangalore University. His keen interest lies in the areas of Accounting, Finance and Taxation. He has worked as NSS officer and LIC coordinator, Proctor and he has the responsibility to teach courses in a manner that is consistent with the course description and credit published in the catalogue and with the announced objectives of the courses.

Ms. Sushmitha R is working as an Assistant Professor in the department of Business Administration has 2 years of teaching experience in the teaching profession. She has received B.Com and M.com degree in Accounting and Taxation specialization from Bangalore University. She is pursuing her MBA at KSOU, Mysore. She has delivered lectures in various subjects in both BBA and B.Com. Prof. Sahana Manjunath

Mrs. Sahana Manjunath is working as Assistant Professor in the department of business administration and has an experience of 4 months of teaching experience in teaching UG. She has pursued post-graduation and graduation degree from Bangalore University. She has attendant many webinars and seminars. She has submitted a few papers in the seminars during the college days completed a NPTEL certification course in financial markets.

Prof. Pandurangappa H

Prof. Pandurangappa H, is an Engineering graduate with Master degree in Information Science and Information Technology from Karnataka University, Dharwad, Karnataka, currently working as the HOD, Department of Computer Applications. He has twenty-four years of teaching experience and 6 years of industrial experience has been with an objective to contribute expertise knowledge and project development experience for the career development of BCA, MCA, M.Sc. students and technical aspirants. He is a Member of Board of Examinations, Department of Computer Applications, Bangalore University.

Academic and Co-Curricular Responsibilities:

Co-coordinating UG programs, responsible and accountable for setting and advancing the academic strategy of the Department in line with Faculty and University strategic plans and direction. Act as a Teachers Representative of Governing Council and active member of the Faculty Executive Board and contribute to the overall leadership and management of the Faculty. He is responsible for ensuring that staff performance is managed appropriately and in a way that is consistent with the expectations of the Sheffield Academic, and that fair workload allocation processes are in place.

 

To make effective use of all staffing resources and seek opportunities for collaboration and joint working with others beyond the department and beyond the Faculty and ensure students are included as appropriate in the various decision making within the department. And at the same time ensure that all staff has access to the necessary support to enable them to contribute fully and develop their skills and experience.

 

He is responsible for ensuring all the activities are carried out to the highest possible standards and put in place the necessary evaluation and monitoring procedures to ensure both compliance and improvement: such procedures will include teaching, research and management of all resources. He promotes and represents the University both internally and externally.

Prof. Pandurangappa H., is currently working as HOD, Department of Computer Applications, DBIMSCA, handling UG classes of BCA and will conduct Skill Enhancement workshops for UG Students.

  • He has an objective to contribute expertise knowledge and project development experience for the career development of UG and PG students and technical aspirants.
  • He is the Co-ordinator of the IQAC of the Institute and is in-charge of conducting Add-on Courses and is the Chief coordinator of the College Programs.
  • His academic responsibilities are teaching, student council ling, project guide and creative activities, service and cooperative extension, and support administrative processes.
  • He is being Resource person in the Computer Science and IT related subjects and delivered lectures in offline and online mode for 12 different Colleges of Bangalore and 5 Colleges of outside Bangalore.

Mr. Madhusudan N is a MCA graduate from University of Mysore. He is currently working in the Department of Computer Applications. He has 20+ years of experience working at various levels in different colleges. He worked as Board of Examination & Sitting Squad during Bangalore University Examinations. He has attended various workshops and seminars.

Mr. Manjunatha M R is presently working as an Assistant Professor in Dept. of BCA. He has pursued Master of Computer Applications in Rajarajeshwari College of Engineering. He is experienced in Computer Networks, Architecture, Internet Technology. He has worked on major projects like; Damaged Street Light Detection, Stroke Data Analysis and much more. Ms. K Keerthi Yadav is presently working as an Assistant Professor in dept. of BCA. She has completed her Master in Computer Applications in Surana College(Autonomous). She has pursued additional qualification in Cyber security, Cloud foundation and data analytics she has a strong technical skill in python, C Programming, my SQL and HTML, learning on JavaScript. She has taken up essential project works like; Production Planning System and Managing Inventories and Web Vista. She has presented research paper and has received Best Project Research Award in Inter College Competition. currently she is contributing her knowledge in NAAC Committee, Lab in charge, Communication Club.

Prof. Keerthiraj H M

Mr. Keerthiraj Hemanth Moger is an Assistant Professor in the Department of BCA, bringing one year of industry experience and one year of teaching experience to his role. His strong technical expertise spans Java, Python, C, C++, .NET, MongoDB, Oracle, and Linux, enabling him to effectively teach both foundational and advanced subjects.

He has taught courses such as Design and Analysis of Algorithms (DAA) and Web Programming, focusing on building students’ logical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and practical coding skills. Ms. Nayana G. N. is a dedicated Assistant Professor with one year of enriching teaching experience. She holds a postgraduate degree in Master of Computer Applications (MCA), bringing both strong academic depth and practical insight to her teaching. She has also presented a research paper in a Scopus-indexed journal, reflecting her commitment to scholarly growth.

Dr. Puttamaraiah K P

He is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Languages and has 23 years of teaching experience for UG courses. He has received a Degree in B.A, M.A(Kannada). He is a Gold Medalist in Master’s in Kannada Literature and has been awarded with Doctorate from Bangalore University. He is a Member Evaluator and Reviewer, Member of BU-UG Exam Squad team member. He worked as an Examiner and Evaluator of ‘Kannada Rathna Pandith Examination’ at Kannada Sathithya Parishath and he is a member of the Parishath. Mrs. Bharathi M S is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Kannada and has 14 years of teaching experience for UG courses. Ms. Niharika S is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of
Languages. She holds a Master’s degree in English from the University of Mysore.
With a total experience of 3 years, she brings both academic and industry insights
to the classroom. Before entering academia, she worked as a Soft Skills Trainer for
1.5 years, equipping students and professionals with essential communication and
interpersonal skills. Her areas of interest include English literature, language
pedagogy, and personality development. She is an accomplished sportsperson — a
State-level football player and a District-level swimmer, showcasing her

athletics.
